Reporting to the Programmes and Service Delivery Coordinator, the Nursing Sister will ensure the effective and efficient implementation of clinic activities while maintaining high professional and ethical standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>-Implement clinical and outreach activities in line with LPPA standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Maintain accurate records of drugs, equipment, and contraceptives used in the clinic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Provide client counseling and dispense appropriate medications.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, half-year, and annual activity reports to the Programmes and Service Delivery Coordinator.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor that align with the role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Qualifications and Experience<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211;<strong>Degree in General Nursing and Midwifery<\/strong> with at least <strong>one-year<\/strong> post-qualification experience as a Nursing Sister.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8211;<strong>Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery<\/strong> with at least <strong>two years<\/strong> post-qualification experience as a Nursing Sister.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Clinical knowledge and practical skills in Sexual and Reproductive Health (SRH) and HIV\/AIDS.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Registered with the Lesotho Nursing Council.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Experience with NGOs is an added advantage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Skills and Abilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>-Strong knowledge and commitment to SRH services.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-High professional and nursing ethical standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Thorough understanding of contraceptive management and counseling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Basic record-keeping skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Ability to mobilize communities effectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Sensitivity to socio-cultural values.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Proficiency in computer usage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How to Apply<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/zentrofly.com\/jobs\/apply-the-lesotho-planned-parenthood-association-nursing-sister\/\">APPLY HERE<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applications received after the closing date will not be considered.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Interviews will be conducted at a date, time, and place determined by LPPA.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>LPPA reserves the right to leave the position unfilled if no suitable candidate is identified.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>LPPA\u2019s Commitment:<\/strong><br>LPPA is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people, and vulnerable adults.
