Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Medical Officer<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

-Provide clinical expertise and guidance to junior doctors, nursing staff, and healthcare workers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Review and oversee patient management initiated by Senior House Officers and Interns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ensure the highest standards of patient care are maintained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Verify complex diagnoses and develop effective treatment plans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Conduct daily inpatient reviews.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Supervise and educate student nurses during ward rounds and surgical procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Offer technical advice, guidance, and support on policy and medical issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Organize in-service training sessions for junior doctors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Coordinate patient care with other healthcare professionals and relatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Liaise with senior doctors for patient management and referrals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Prepare and submit reports to relevant authorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Conduct priority operational research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Minimum Requirements<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

–MB. ChB\/MD\/MBBS\/Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–At least 3 years of experience<\/strong> as a Medical Doctor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Strong understanding of ethical medical practices and standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Must be registered with the Lesotho Medical, Dental, and Pharmacy Council<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Added Advantages<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

-Experience in a managerial position<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Postgraduate training<\/strong> in obstetrics and gynecology.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Additional training and experience in HIV\/AIDS management<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
