Are you passionate about retail and eager to gain hands-on experience in the industry? The Mr Price Foundation<\/strong>, through its JumpStart Programme<\/strong>, is offering unemployed South African youth the opportunity to enhance their employability through two dynamic and practical training tracks:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

  1. Retail Sales Programme (RSP)<\/strong> \u2013 Focused on customer-facing roles.<\/li>\n\n\n\n
  2. Retail Frontline Programme (RFP)<\/strong> \u2013 Designed to prepare youth for entry-level retail positions.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n

    These programmes equip participants with essential life skills, sales theory<\/strong>, and practical in-store work experience<\/strong>\u2014completely free of charge<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    1. Retail Sales Programme (RSP):<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    A high-energy, two-week<\/strong> training programme tailored for those with a friendly, outgoing nature and strong communication skills. The course includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    -Life skills training<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    -Sales theory and role-playing<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    -In-store work experience<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    -Phone screening and online survey for selection<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    \n\n\n\n

    2. Retail Frontline Programme (RFP):<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    An empowering two-week course aimed at preparing you for entry-level roles in the retail sector. The training includes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    -Online life skills course<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    -In-person training and mock interviews<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    -One week of hands-on retail experience<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Basic Entry Requirements (for both programmes):<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    -Must be South African<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    -Must have completed Matric<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    -Aged between 18 and 33 years<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    –Currently unemployed<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    –No criminal record<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
