The successful candidate will assist the <strong>driver in transporting and delivering goods<\/strong>, ensuring that all items are handled safely and efficiently. This role requires a <strong>strong work ethic, attention to detail, and excellent customer service skills<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Delivery Support &amp; Logistics<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Assist the <strong>driver with loading and unloading goods<\/strong> from the van.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure all <strong>items are securely packed and organized<\/strong> for safe delivery.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Deliver goods to customers in a <strong>timely and professional manner<\/strong>, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Route &amp; Delivery Coordination<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Help the driver <strong>navigate routes<\/strong> and optimize delivery schedules.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sort and <strong>organize deliveries<\/strong> at the beginning and end of each shift.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Report any <strong>delays, accidents, or delivery issues<\/strong> to the supervisor immediately.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Vehicle Maintenance &amp; Safety<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Maintain <strong>cleanliness and general upkeep<\/strong> of the van.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Report any <strong>damage or maintenance issues<\/strong> to management.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Follow all <strong>health and safety regulations<\/strong>, ensuring compliance with <strong>road safety laws<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Customer Service &amp; Documentation<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Communicate <strong>effectively with customers<\/strong>, providing updates and assistance as needed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure all <strong>delivery documentation<\/strong> (such as invoices and delivery notes) is completed and submitted accurately.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Requirements &amp; Skills<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Previous experience<\/strong> in a <strong>delivery or van assistant role<\/strong> is preferred.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong <strong>organizational skills<\/strong> and <strong>attention to detail<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good <strong>communication and customer service skills<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to work <strong>independently<\/strong> and as part of a <strong>team<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Basic knowledge of the <strong>local area<\/strong> is an advantage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Positive and flexible attitude<\/strong>, willing to assist with various tasks as needed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Grade 12 \/ Matric qualification<\/strong> is required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Must reside in Mamelodi<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button is-style-outline is-style-outline--1\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-base-3-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/zentrofly.com\/jobs\/apply-for-phakisa-holdings-driver-assistants-van-assistants\/\" style=\"background-color:#ff0000\">APPLY HERE<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Remuneration<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Hourly Rate:<\/strong> R34.02 per hour<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Qualified candidates who meet the above requirements are encouraged to apply.
