Job Overview<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We are seeking a reliable and efficient Driver \/ General Assistant<\/strong> to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing transportation services, assisting with general office and operational tasks, and ensuring smooth day-to-day business operations. This role requires a proactive individual with strong time management and organizational skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

-Safely transport personnel and goods to designated locations in a timely manner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Assist with loading and unloading goods, ensuring proper handling and storage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Maintain the cleanliness and functionality of the company vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Conduct routine vehicle inspections and arrange necessary repairs and maintenance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Keep accurate mileage and repair records.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Support office operations by performing general administrative tasks as required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Collect and deliver samples as needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Assist with setting up and organizing events and meetings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Handle errands and other ad hoc tasks assigned by management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Maintain an inventory of office supplies and order new materials as necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Provide hands-on support for daily operational needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Perform filing and other administrative duties within the office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Requirements & Skills<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

-Valid driver\u2019s license with a clean driving record and a Professional Driving Permit (PDP).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Minimum 2 years of experience<\/strong> as a driver or in a similar role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Strong knowledge of local traffic laws and routes<\/strong> in Durban and surrounding areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Excellent time management and organizational skills.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ability to perform physical tasks,<\/strong> including lifting and carrying items.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Proactive attitude<\/strong> with the ability to take initiative.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ability to work flexible shifts<\/strong> based on transport and business needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
