Job Overview<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Pedros is seeking a dedicated and responsible Code 10 Driver<\/strong> to join our Distribution Centre team. The primary role of this position is to safely transport goods<\/strong> between destinations within the required time frame while ensuring compliance with all road and company regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

-Adhere to delivery schedules, company procedures, and road regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Operate and handle the vehicle safely and responsibly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Conduct daily vehicle inspections and report faults or mechanical issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Complete vehicle inspection sheets and refuel as required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Follow designated routes and check truck load lists before departure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ensure correct loading and offloading of goods, including pallets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Comply with road safety regulations, including wearing seat belts, avoiding distractions, and adhering to speed limits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ensure vehicle loads are secured and documentation matches deliveries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Obtain signatures on proof of deliveries and handle returned goods or invoices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Maintain cleanliness and order in accordance with 5S workplace standards.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Report for shifts on time, including early morning and night shifts as required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Accurately complete all required documentation and update daily activities in the system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Requirements & Skills<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

–Matric certificate<\/strong> (Grade 12).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Minimum 5 years of experience<\/strong> in the transportation industry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Valid RSA ID.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Valid Code 10 driver\u2019s license.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Valid Professional Driving Permit (PDP).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ability to work flexible day and night shifts.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Strong commitment to road safety and company policies.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ability to communicate effectively<\/strong> and follow structured processes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
