The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately managing the movement of stock and crates from production to dispatch while overseeing the return logistics. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Responsibilities:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Stock and Crate Management:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Accurately process and document the movement of stock from the production area to the dispatch section.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure that all crates are correctly packed, labeled, and stored before dispatch.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Coordinate the return of crates and stock from deliveries, ensuring all returns are logged and accounted for.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Documentation and Record Keeping:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Prepare and check all necessary dispatch documentation, ensuring compliance with regulations and company standards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure that all dispatch paperwork, including delivery notes, invoices, and stock transfer documents, are completed accurately and on time.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain accurate records of stock movements using relevant software systems, including JDE (JD Edwards).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Stock Monitoring and Reporting:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Monitor stock levels and notify the relevant departments of any discrepancies or shortages.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Report any issues or anomalies in stock movement or documentation to the supervisor.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Coordination and Communication:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Liaise with truck drivers, warehouse staff, and production teams to ensure the smooth and accurate movement of goods.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain clear and effective communication with team members to coordinate dispatch schedules and returns.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Health and Safety Compliance:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the dispatch area.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment for all team members.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Requirements and Skills:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Education:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Minimum: Grade 12 (Matric) with a maths pass rate of 60% or higher.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Preferred: Relevant qualifications in logistics or supply chain management (Not mandatory).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Experience:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Proven experience in a dispatch or logistics department.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience in the FMCG (Fast-Moving Consumer Goods) sector is advantageous.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Familiarity with the JDE (JD Edwards) system is a significant advantage.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Skills and Competencies:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to handle high volumes of stock and documentation efficiently.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Time management skills with the capability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How to Apply:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>Interested candidates are invited to submit their applications, including a detailed CV, to Phakisa Holdings (Pty) Ltd.
