Heymans Kole Group, a well-established trucking and logistics company, is seeking experienced Code 14 \/ EC truck drivers<\/strong> to join its professional team. If you have extensive link and side tipper driving experience<\/strong>, a passion for long-distance trucking<\/strong>, and meet the necessary requirements, this is an opportunity to advance your career.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Driver testing will be conducted on 20 March 2025<\/strong> for qualified candidates who meet the criteria listed below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Minimum Requirements<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

–Five years of link truck driving experience<\/strong> \u2013 Proven experience in handling long-distance and heavy loads.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Two years of side tipper driving experience<\/strong> \u2013 Required for bulk transport operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Valid Code 14 (EC) driver\u2019s license<\/strong> \u2013 Must be compliant with South African road regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Valid PrDP (Professional Driving Permit)<\/strong> \u2013 Must be valid for at least three months from the date of testing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Valid passport<\/strong> \u2013 Required for potential cross-border transport assignments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Cross-border experience (advantageous)<\/strong> \u2013 Candidates with experience in transporting goods across borders will have an advantage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Clean criminal record<\/strong> \u2013 Mandatory for compliance and safety standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–South African citizens only<\/strong> \u2013 Due to local employment regulations, only South African applicants will be considered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Age limit: 55 years<\/strong> \u2013 Due to operational and insurance requirements, applicants must be 55 years or younger.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Punctuality is essential<\/strong> \u2013 Candidates must arrive by 09:00 AM sharp<\/strong>. Late arrivals will not be tested.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Required Documents<\/strong> \u2013 Candidates must bring original ID, driver\u2019s license, and passport<\/strong> for verification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Job Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

As a Code 14 Truck Driver<\/strong> at Heymans Kole Group, your duties will include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Transporting goods safely and efficiently to various destinations within and outside South Africa.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Operating side tipper trucks and link trucks with precision and caution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Completing all required documentation before and after each trip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Adhering to strict safety protocols, road laws, and transport regulations<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections<\/strong> to ensure roadworthiness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Following delivery schedules and maintaining effective communication with dispatchers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
