The ideal candidates will play a critical role in implementing district-level activities aimed at improving child health outcomes through enhanced immunization efforts. This is a fixed-term, full-time position under the local contract, offering a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact in vulnerable communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. <strong>Program Implementation, Monitoring &amp; Evaluation (40%)<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>-Ensure timely and effective implementation of project activities in assigned districts<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Use project-specific tools and IEC materials for training and outreach<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Monitor progress against activity and budget plans, ensuring effective resource use<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Collect and submit reports weekly, monthly, and quarterly<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Track performance data, document lessons learned, and share success stories<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. <strong>Representation and Networking (30%)<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>-Establish and maintain relationships with community leaders, health facilities, and district-level stakeholders<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Coordinate community engagement efforts and outreach activities<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Organize stakeholder meetings and advocate for improved immunization coverage<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. <strong>Teamwork, Administration and Reporting (20%)<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>-Work collaboratively with project staff, drivers, and field teams<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Prepare and review project reports and plans for compliance<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Provide mentorship and capacity-building support at community level<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. <strong>Spiritual Nurturing (10%)<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Participate in devotions and spiritual life of World Vision Lesotho<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrate integrity, humility, and commitment to the organization\u2019s mission and Christian values<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Minimum Requirements<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>-General Nursing and Midwifery qualification<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-At least <strong>five (5) years of experience<\/strong> in implementing health-related projects<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Experience in <strong>primary healthcare settings<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Registered with the <strong>Lesotho Nursing Council<\/strong> and hold a valid license<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Postgraduate qualification in <strong>Primary Healthcare, Community Health Nursing<\/strong>, or <strong>Public Health<\/strong> is an added advantage<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Knowledge of <strong>Expanded Programme on Immunization (EPI)<\/strong> and UNICEF reporting tools<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Demonstrated capacity to coordinate training and community logistics<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Experience in supervising teams and reporting on health outcomes<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Skills and Competencies<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>-Strong interpersonal and community mobilization skills<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and data collection tools<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Excellent communication and report writing skills<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Ability to work under pressure and travel up to 50% of the time<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-High emotional maturity and cultural sensitivity<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Commitment to child protection and Christian values<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">APPLICATION PROCESS<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/zentrofly.com\/jobs\/lsjobs\/apply-for-world-vision-lesotho-immunization-project-assistant-nurse\/\">APPLY HERE<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Job Title: Immunization Project Assistant (Nurse)Locations: Mokhotlong, Leribe, and Mafeteng Districts, LesothoClosing Date: 9 April 2025 Overview World Vision Lesotho is hiring three (3) Immunization Project Assistants (Nurses) to support its health and immunization programs in Mokhotlong, Leribe, and Mafeteng districts.
