Overview:<\/strong>
Sefalana Shopper is looking for a reliable and experienced Chief Cashier to oversee all cashier operations, ensure proper cash handling, and support financial controls within the store. The Chief Cashier will supervise the front-end staff and ensure accuracy and integrity in daily cash transactions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Supervise and coordinate the activities of all cashiers to ensure efficient checkout operations<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Oversee daily cash-ups, till reconciliations, and banking processes<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Monitor the accuracy of transactions and compliance with company policies<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Train new cashiers on POS systems, customer service, and cash-handling procedures<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Assist with resolving till variances, customer issues, or transaction discrepancies<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Maintain secure and organized cash office operations and documentation<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ensure adequate float levels and manage till allocations<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Prepare and submit daily cash reports and support audit processes<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Support the Till Supervisor and management team with front-end operations<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-LGCSE or equivalent qualification<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar cashier supervisory role<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Strong leadership and problem-solving skills<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-High level of integrity, attention to detail, and trustworthiness<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Good knowledge of POS systems and cash office procedures<\/p>\n\n\n\n
