Overview<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

CJ Mining Holdings is seeking motivated and career-focused graduates and qualified Basotho candidates to join its diamond prospecting project in Ngope-Tsoeu (Roma). This is a 5-year employment contract at the mining phase, supported by a 6-month on-the-job training (OJT) program. No prior experience is required. This opportunity is ideal for individuals aiming to build a career in mining and supervision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

1. Supervising and Leading a Team<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Direct and assign tasks to a team of general laborers and skilled tradespeople.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Provide clear instructions and ensure understanding of assignments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Motivate and guide the team to achieve project objectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Monitor performance, provide feedback, and resolve any issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Work Planning and Coordination<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Understand project plans, specifications, and schedules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Plan daily or weekly team activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Coordinate with supervisors, trades, and other foremen to ensure smooth workflow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ensure materials, tools, and equipment are available as needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. Ensuring Safety Compliance<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Enforce safety regulations and procedures on-site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Conduct safety briefings and toolbox talks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Identify and mitigate potential hazards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ensure the use of proper personal protective equipment (PPE).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Report and investigate incidents or accidents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. Monitoring Progress and Quality<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Track work progress and adherence to the schedule.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Inspect completed work to ensure quality standards are met.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Identify defects or rework needs and report them to relevant managers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. Problem Solving<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Resolve daily challenges and issues on the worksite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Offer practical solutions to maintain progress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6. Communication and Reporting<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Maintain effective communication with crew, supervisors, and management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Submit regular updates and required documentation including timesheets and reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

7. Equipment and Material Management<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Oversee the use and maintenance of equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ensure proper storage and handling of materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Report damaged or missing equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

8. Training and Development<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Provide training to less experienced workers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Identify training needs within the team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Requirements and Qualifications<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

-COSC or any Commercial Diploma<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Additional short courses will be an advantage<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Strong leadership, coordination, and communication skills<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ability to work under pressure and in remote field environments<\/p>\n\n\n\n
