Overview<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

CJ Mining Holdings is seeking a passionate and proactive Community Liaison Officer (CLO) to join its diamond prospecting project in Ngope-Tsoeu (Roma). This position is integral to building and maintaining strong, transparent, and mutually beneficial relationships between the company and local communities. It is a 5-year contract role supported by a 6-month on-the-job training (OJT) program, and is ideal for candidates looking to make a meaningful impact on community development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

-Act as the primary point of contact between the company and the local communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Develop and implement community engagement strategies and plans.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Conduct regular consultations and community meetings to gather feedback and resolve concerns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Facilitate effective communication and information exchange between stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Identify community needs and support local development programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Resolve grievances and community conflicts respectfully and timely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Monitor, evaluate, and report on community engagement initiatives and outcomes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ensure compliance with company policies and local regulations regarding community relations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Support the implementation of social investment programs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Foster relationships with local authorities, NGOs, and other stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Promote local employment and procurement opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Requirements and Skills<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

-Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Social Sciences, Community Development, Communications, or a related field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Experience in community liaison roles, preferably in mining or extractive industries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Strong understanding of community development principles and practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ability to collaborate effectively with diverse communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Proven ability to manage relationships at all levels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Strong organizational and report-writing skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Experience in conflict resolution and grievance management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Understanding of environmental and social impact assessments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Valid driver\u2019s license.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Knowledge of local languages and customs is highly desirable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
