Overview:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

SUN JV, a key subcontractor for the Lesotho Highlands Development Authority (LHDA) Project, is inviting skilled and experienced Welders<\/strong> to join the site operations team. This position involves performing welding tasks on structural and mechanical components in accordance with engineering drawings, welding codes, and safety regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

-Perform welding on a variety of materials including steel and metal components as required for site structures and equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Interpret and follow technical drawings, specifications, and welding procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Conduct inspections of completed welds to ensure structural integrity and compliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Set up welding equipment and ensure tools are properly maintained.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Maintain a clean and safe work environment and adhere to all safety standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Requirements and Skills:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

-Trade Certificate in Welding or equivalent recognized qualification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-At least 3 years\u2019 experience in structural, pipe, or mechanical welding (including SMAW, MIG, or TIG processes).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ability to read and interpret construction blueprints and welding symbols.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Knowledge of welding codes and safety regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Good physical fitness and the ability to work in confined or elevated areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
