Moments Giftery, a locally owned creative gift shop, is seeking a motivated and hands-on individual to join its team as a Wooden Craft Assistant \u2013 Trainee<\/strong>. This opportunity is ideal for someone passionate about handcrafted wood-based items and looking to grow their creative and technical skills in a supportive and artistic environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Position Purpose:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

The role of the Wooden Craft Assistant is to support the production of wooden gift products through crafting, finishing, and personalization processes. The ideal candidate should have basic woodworking knowledge and an eye for creativity and detail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

-Assist in crafting and assembling wooden products such as gift boxes, frames, and d\u00e9cor items.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Carry out sanding, staining, painting, and varnishing for smooth finishes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Participate in personalizing wooden items with engraving or custom designs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Maintain crafting tools and ensure the workspace is safe and organized.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Monitor and report inventory levels for crafting materials and tools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Requirements and Skills:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

-Basic woodworking knowledge and experience with hand tools and small machinery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Strong attention to detail and ability to meet quality standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Creative mindset with a keen sense of layout, presentation, and finishing touches.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Must currently reside in or near Sekamaneng, Naleli, Koalabata, or Khubetsoana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Qualifications:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

-A certificate in carpentry, woodwork, or a relevant field.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-At least 1 year of experience<\/strong> in a similar or related role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
