Role Purpose<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

To implement the compliance strategy aligned with the compliance monitoring plan, ensuring that the business operates within all regulatory and legal frameworks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Internal Process<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

-Execute and report on compliance activities as outlined in the Risk-Based Compliance Monitoring Plan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Monitor and interpret new regulatory developments, updating internal policies accordingly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Conduct compliance training and participate in new staff induction programmes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Provide legal and regulatory advice to business units.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Assess impact of regulatory changes and support the business in maintaining compliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Perform internal compliance reviews and audits; follow up on findings and implement corrective actions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Manage breach identification, analysis, resolution, and escalation procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Prepare and submit statutory applications to regulators or supervisory bodies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Assist in policy reviews and make compliance-focused recommendations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Deliver compliance reports and participate in business project consultations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Client Service<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

-Foster strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Contribute to negotiating and maintaining Service Level Agreements (SLAs).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ensure client satisfaction and promote fair treatment practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

People<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

-Build collaborative working relationships and offer expert compliance guidance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Drive continuous improvement through innovation and skill development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Take ownership of personal career development and contribute to organisational knowledge sharing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Finance<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

-Support operational efficiency initiatives and cost-effectiveness strategies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Participate in developing business cases and ensure governance alignment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Escalate unresolved policy issues for further investigation and resolution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Requirements<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

–Experience:<\/strong> 2\u20135 years of experience in a compliance-related role (insurance\/financial services industry experience is advantageous).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Education:<\/strong> Relevant qualification in law, compliance, or finance-related discipline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
