Overview:<\/strong>
The Ministry of Natural Resources, through the Lesotho Lowlands Water Supply Scheme Unit (LLWSSU), is seeking to appoint a qualified and experienced Storekeeper. LLWSSU is responsible for managing a bulk water supply project aimed at improving access to clean water in Lesotho\u2019s lowlands. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing inventory and ensuring the smooth operation of the store within the procurement function.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Position Purpose:<\/strong>
The Storekeeper will be responsible for the accurate tracking, receiving, issuing, and storage of materials and goods. This role requires strong organizational skills and close coordination with the procurement office to ensure optimal stock management and timely replenishment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Manage and maintain accurate inventory records of all materials and supplies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Receive, inspect, and document incoming goods and ensure they meet quality standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Dispatch materials and maintain records of stock movements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Organize store layout for easy access and efficient storage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Conduct regular stock counts and report on inventory levels and discrepancies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Monitor stock turnover and recommend timely replenishments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ensure safe handling and storage of goods in line with safety and quality standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Work closely with the Procurement Manager and other departments to support operational needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Requirements and Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    -Minimum of LGCSE\/COSC.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    -Certification in inventory management is an added advantage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    -5 to 10 years of proven work experience as a Storekeeper.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    -Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    -Ability to use inventory management systems and maintain accurate records.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    -Effective communication and reporting abilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
