This position is a critical leadership role within the Estates Management Division, responsible for ensuring efficient property administration and compliance with national legislation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Purpose of the Role<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>To supervise, manage, and direct the Estates Management Division, ensuring effective operations and compliance with professional and statutory requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>-Manage and oversee the daily operations of the Estate Management Division.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Supervise and guide subordinates in line with established procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Oversee property valuation processes to ensure statutory compliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Provide professional advice on estate management and property valuation to Council and stakeholders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Manage the allocation of staff housing and ensure proper documentation and compliance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Perform additional duties as assigned by management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Qualifications and Experience<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Minimum Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Degree in <strong>Estate Management<\/strong> or a related discipline.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>At least <strong>10 years of relevant work experience<\/strong>, including <strong>2 years at the level of Principal Estate Officer II (D3)<\/strong> in government, or equivalent experience in the <strong>Private Sector or Parastatal<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Additional Requirement:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Must be <strong>registered<\/strong> with the <strong>Real Estate Institute of Botswana<\/strong> or <strong>Real Estate Advisory Council<\/strong>, and possess a <strong>valid practicing certificate<\/strong> at the time of application. <em>(Attach proof of registration and certification.)<\/em><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Competencies Required<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>-Working with People<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Adhering to Principles and Values<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Relating and Networking<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Writing and Reporting<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Planning and Organizing<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Delivering Results and Meeting Customer Expectations<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Following Instructions and Procedures<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Benefits<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Medical Aid Scheme:<\/strong> Optional contributory;
