Junior First Officers will perform operational duties, assist with navigation, and uphold safety protocols.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong> Perform pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight checks; monitor flight path and systems; assist Captain with operational decisions; maintain compliance with SACAA and ICAO regulations; submit flight documentation; assume command if Captain incapacitated.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Grade 12 (Essential)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>SACAA Commercial Pilot Licence + Class 1 Medical (Essential)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minimum 1000 flying hours (including turbine\/jet hours per requirement)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Boeing\/Airbus type rating advantageous<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>SA Citizen with valid RSA Passport &amp; Driver\u2019s Licence<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Willingness to work irregular hours<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Cadet (Level 1) X7 \u2013 Permanent<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Overview:<\/strong> Comprehensive cadet training programme designed to develop graduates into future First Officers through ground school, simulator, and flight instruction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong> Participate in full cadet training; develop aviation knowledge and flying skills; maintain accurate training records; uphold discipline and safety standards; progress to First Officer status in line with FlySafair\u2019s training requirements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Grade 12 (Essential)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Valid Commercial Pilot Licence + Multi Engine Instrument Rating (Essential)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Valid Class 1 Medical<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minimum 200 total flying hours (including 10 Multi-Engine PIC hours)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>SA Citizen, no criminal record, valid RSA Passport<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Willing to sign a 7-year Training Bond<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5.
