This role focuses on supporting drivers in the safe loading, offloading, and delivery of glass products, while ensuring compliance with company safety and quality standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Assist driver with safe <strong>loading and offloading<\/strong> of glass products.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identify the most suitable loading\/unloading positions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete quality check sheets during loading.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Double-check that all loads are restrained and secure throughout trips.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support drivers when reversing or manoeuvring in confined or unseen spaces.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Report any property damage during operations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist with paperwork control and documentation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Adhere to company <strong>safety, environmental, and housekeeping standards.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Carry out any additional tasks requested by the factory supervisor.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work overtime and weekends when operationally required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Requirements &amp; Skills<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Grade 12 (Matric)<\/strong> required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Valid <strong>Code 10 or higher driver\u2019s licence with PrDP<\/strong> advantageous.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills (customer-facing role).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>High energy and ability to work in a <strong>fast-paced environment.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to work under pressure and complete daily tasks without delay.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Mobile and able to travel to work.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Analytical and numerical skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Experience Advantageous:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Handling and moving dangerous goods.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Working with different types of glass products.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reading and interpreting drawings and production orders.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Glass handling and quality control processes.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Remuneration &amp; Benefits<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Market-related salary package.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Permanent employment with a leading national glass supplier.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Opportunity to work with advanced and innovative glass products.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Employment Equity<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>PG Group is an <strong>equal opportunity employer<\/strong>, committed to fairness, diversity, and employment equity.
