The role requires disciplined trip documentation, strict adherence to safety standards, and proactive vehicle care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Deliver glass products to and from customers efficiently and safely.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete daily trip sheets, quality check sheets, and all delivery paperwork accurately.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform daily vehicle inspections; report faults immediately and maintain vehicle cleanliness (inside and out).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist with loading and offloading, ensuring safe handling at all times.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Build effective working relationships with customers and internal teams.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Follow work instructions, SOPs, and business rules; uphold environmental, safety, and housekeeping standards.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Work overtime, weekends, and participate in shift rotations when required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Carry out reasonable ad-hoc tasks as requested by the Factory Services Manager.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Requirements &amp; Skills<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Grade 12 (Matric).<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Code 10 or higher driver\u2019s licence with PrDP.<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>High energy with the ability to work in a fast-paced, pressurised environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills (customer facing).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proven analytical and numerical abilities; accurate record-keeping.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Honest, trustworthy, self-motivated, and able to \u201ccomplete today\u2019s work today.\u201d<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sound knowledge of road networks in the delivery area.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Advantageous Experience<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Handling and moving dangerous goods.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience with various glass products.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Reading drawings and production orders.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Glass handling and quality control.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>At least 2 years\u2019 driving experience<\/strong> in a similar role.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Remuneration &amp; Benefits<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Market-related package.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Stable employment within a national market leader in glass solutions.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Training on company procedures, safety, and quality systems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Employment Equity<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>PG Group and its subsidiaries are <strong>equal opportunity employers<\/strong>, committed to fairness, diversity, and employment equity.
