The role focuses on the safe, accurate treatment of geological samples, adherence to ECOHS standards, and meticulous data capture to support discovery and evaluation of kimberlite targets and diamond-bearing systems.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Responsibilities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Sample Treatment &amp; Data Integrity<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Produce heavy (indicator) mineral concentrates per approved procedures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Follow <strong>Diamond Control<\/strong> protocols during all treatment activities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Capture process data in <strong>LIMS<\/strong> and maintain treatment\/decontamination records (e.g., tromp curves, tracer tests).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct tracer tests; recognise and report performance deviations or non-conformances.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform plant de-contamination as required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Plant Operations<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Operate across key processes: <strong>crushing<\/strong>, <strong>wet\/dry screening<\/strong>, <strong>dense media separation<\/strong>, <strong>electrostatic and magnetic separation<\/strong>, <strong>heavy liquid separation<\/strong>, and <strong>aliquoting<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete pre-start checks; execute routine maintenance per schedule; apply correct lock-out procedures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist with troubleshooting; escalate issues to the Project Metallurgist\/Maintenance team.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct shutdowns according to procedure.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Governance, Risk, Compliance &amp; Reporting<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Demonstrate visible safety leadership and comply with ECOHS, quality, diamond protocol and risk requirements.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain confidentiality, data integrity and sample chain of custody.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform risk assessments for planned and ad-hoc tasks; report observations and incidents.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Keep auditable records for safety and quality management systems.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Requirements &amp; Skills<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Education:<\/strong> Grade 12 (Mathematics advantageous).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Technical:<\/strong> Computer literacy (Microsoft Office Suite); valid competency\/licence for machinery operation (e.g., <strong>Forklift<\/strong>) advantageous.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Experience:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Prior exposure to laboratory environments, diamond\/heavy mineral recovery processes, or field exploration advantageous.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience in sample treatment and\/or mineral processing will be beneficial.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Capabilities &amp;
