The Site Courier role plays a pivotal part in our operations, providing essential messenger and general administrative support functions to our laboratory\/site.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Closing Date<\/strong>: January 10, 2024<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Minimum Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Grade 10 qualification<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Grade 12 or relevant NQF level 4 qualification preferred<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>0-1 years of relevant working experience<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Relevant Job Knowledge:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Computer literacy<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Understanding of organizational policies and procedures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities Include:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Performing hospital rounds, delivering reports, and collecting samples following standard operating procedures to maintain workflow efficiency.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sorting and distributing internal\/courier mail to ensure accurate and timely delivery to respective departments.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Taking telephonic messages to uphold operational standards and maintain the company&#8217;s image.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assisting in receiving and dispatching specimens for processing according to prescribed procedures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Scanning specimen bar codes to support tracking processes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintaining basic housekeeping standards in the working area according to established procedures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Delivering stock to wards and doctors&#8217; rooms to ensure the availability of necessary materials.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Representing the organization through the application of customer care principles in the medical pathology field, interacting professionally and ethically with patients, clients, doctors, and hospital staff.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Applying health and safety best practices in accordance with relevant legislation and procedures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Adhering to Lancet uniform protocols as per established procedures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Performing Meditech functions if required by the region, once competent on-site: Dictionary Enquiries, Result Enquiries, Result Printing, Mailbox system (MOX).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>To Apply:<\/strong> If you meet the minimum requirements and are enthusiastic about joining our dynamic team, please submit your application by the closing date.
