We are committed to empowering local talent in the Cape Metro Region and fostering the growth of individuals with a passion for contributing to these vital sectors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>About the Bursary Programme:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The bursary will cover various educational expenses up to a maximum value of R45,000, including:\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Registration fees<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Tuition fees<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Textbooks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Study-related materials relevant to your course<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Examination fees<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recipients will benefit from quarterly mentoring sessions, providing guidance and support throughout their academic journey.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Bursary Obligations:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Bursaries are awarded annually and are subject to renewal based on Vulamathuba Empumelelo\u2019s discretion.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Upon graduation, recipients will be required to &#8220;work back&#8221; a portion of the bursary within the Communicare group of companies or any other nominated organization, as outlined in the agreement with Vulamathuba Empumelelo.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Eligibility Criteria:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Applicants must meet the following minimum requirements before applying:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>South African citizenship or a Permanent Residency Permit\/Work Visa in South Africa.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Residency within the City of Cape Town.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Age between 19 and 50 years old.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Currently in Matric or have completed Matric.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Pursuing or intending to study a qualification within the Scarce or Critical Skills List on a full-time or part-time basis.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Enrollment or intention to study at a recognized and accredited tertiary institution in South Africa (University or TVET College).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Demonstrated financial need through a means test.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Gross household income not exceeding R350,000 per annum.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Willingness and ability to participate in community service or special project work.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Preference given to students accepted to study at public institutions in the Western Cape.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How to Apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To ensure your application process goes smoothly, please follow these detailed steps outlined below:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Step 1: Download and Complete <a href=\"https:\/\/communicare.co.za\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/11\/Vulamathuba-Bursary-Application-Fund-Application-Form-2024-V1.pdf\">the Vulamathuba Empumelelo Bursary Application 2024 (.pdf)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Access the Vulamathuba Empumelelo Bursary Application 2024 in PDF format.
