As a Code 14 Driver, you will be entrusted with operating various code 14 vehicles efficiently and responsibly. Your duties will include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Safeguarding the vehicle and its cargo.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conducting daily inspections of the vehicle and promptly reporting any issues.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Loading and unloading diverse materials and equipment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensuring strict adherence to the Road Traffic Act and prioritizing the safety of all road users.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Compliance with regulations outlined in the Occupational Health and Safety Act, company policies, and road regulations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Familiarity with routes within the Gauteng area.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Qualifications and Experience:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Minimum Grade 12 certificate.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Valid, unendorsed Code 14 license with a valid PDP.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At least 3 years of driving experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Practical and hands-on approach to tasks.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proficiency in driving vehicles with manual gearboxes.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience with operating a Mounted Grab Crane, skip, or RoRo will be advantageous.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Proficiency in reversing a draw-bar trailer.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Qualifying Attributes:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Strong work ethic and self-motivation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Effective verbal and written communication skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent time management and organizational abilities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Professional demeanor.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good physical health.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Commitment to providing exceptional customer service.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sober habits and overall good health.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Willingness to work overtime and weekends as required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How To Apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/zentrofly.com\/jobs\/apply-for-sa-metal-group-code-14-driver\/\">APPLY<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Company Overview:<br>SA Metal Group (Pty) Ltd, South Africa&#8217;s oldest and largest metal recycling company, celebrates its 105th anniversary in 2024.
