The successful candidate will report to the Shift Supervisor Raise Drilling.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Conduct safe and efficient underground excavations using large and small Raise Bore machines to meet production targets.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supervise team&#8217;s daily tasks effectively.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Contain costs through the safe and effective use of raise bore drilling machines, adhering to OEM specifications.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct morning meetings and complete relevant checklists and risk\/safety documents as required.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ensure compliance with M&amp;RC&#8217;s standards, policies, procedures, and safety protocols.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Engage stakeholders effectively to ensure smooth workflows.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Manage self and team effectively, aligning with M&amp;RC&#8217;s values and leadership initiatives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><br><strong>Minimum Qualifications and Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Grade 12 or equivalent.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Certified as competent B.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Certified competent as a Raise Drilling Operator.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Engineering Trade Certificate (advantageous).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Valid Driver\u2019s License.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good English communication skills (written and verbal).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Work Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>At least 3 years of experience operating a raise drilling machine on a raise drilling operation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to supervise a team and complete administrative requirements (reporting, checklists, safety documentation).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Understanding of baseline risk assessment with the ability to complete an issue-based risk assessment independently.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How To Apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/zentrofly.com\/jobs\/apply-for-murray-roberts-operator-i-raise-drilling\/\">APPLY<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Disclaimer:<\/strong><br>The Recruiter may amend, delete, or expire jobs at any time without notification.
