AR5 (Pty) Ltd is a growing organization engaged in agricultural and construction operations. We are looking for a qualified and experienced Mechanic<\/strong> to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a range of farm and construction equipment, with a focus on tractors and irrigation systems. This role is based in a remote area and requires a highly self-motivated and dependable professional.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Position Purpose:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

To ensure the efficient maintenance and repair of farm and construction machinery, contributing to the smooth running of operations in a remote and demanding environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

-Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on agricultural and construction equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Service and troubleshoot tractors, especially John Deere<\/strong> models, lay machines, and irrigation pumps.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Conduct routine preventative maintenance and safety checks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Maintain accurate records of services and repairs performed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Provide technical support and work independently with limited supervision.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ensure compliance with health and safety standards at all times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Minimum Requirements:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

-Minimum of 5 years\u2019 hands-on experience with farm and construction equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Proven experience working with tractors (preferably John Deere), irrigation pumps, and lay machines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ability to operate in remote and challenging environments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Physically fit and willing to work extended hours as required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-High level of accountability and ability to work independently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
