The roles involve initiating HIV-infected clients on ART, PrEP, and STI treatment while supporting the full implementation of the 95-95-95 strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Lead and facilitate Anova\u2019s 95-95-95 in-facility activities, including meetings and weekly data reviews.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Collaborate with outreach teams to refer and initiate ART for eligible HIV-infected clients, including PrEP.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Provide follow-up care for patients on treatment per DoH HIV Management guidelines, Anova work plans, and Facility 90-90-90 plans.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monitor and mentor TB\/HIV\/STI program performance at the facility level.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Identify and address poor performance indicators, develop and implement quality improvement plans.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assess training needs and arrange in-service training for clinic staff.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Train and mentor clinic staff on MSM Diversity and biomedical aspects.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Report weekly to Anova sub-district team using relevant M&amp;E tools on ART and TPT initiation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Support the implementation of I-ACT support groups and Chronic Treatment Clubs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attend weekly multidisciplinary meetings and participate in HITT projects for data clean-up.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Degree or diploma in Professional Nursing.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Registration with the South African Nursing Council.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Certified NIMART training in the Western Cape.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minimum of 4 years&#8217; experience in a clinic (PHC or CHC) setting.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At least 2 years&#8217; NIMART experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Familiarity with current HIV Management, PrEP, STI, and TB guidelines.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>PHC Qualification is advantageous.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent communication, interpersonal, and report-writing skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong organizational, time management, and multitasking abilities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Valid driver\u2019s license and ability to drive.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Additional Information:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Preference will be given to applicants from designated groups as per the Employment Equity Act 55 of 1998.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Anova Health Institute has a mandatory vaccination policy; proof of vaccination will be required upon successful application.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>If you do not hear back within four weeks of your application, please consider your application unsuccessful.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Anova does not accept unsolicited CVs from agencies; no agency fees will be paid for placements.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>How to Apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/zentrofly.com\/jobs\/apply-anova-health-professional-nurse-x-3-swss-permanent\/\">APPLY<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>To apply, please submit your application by 17 June 2024.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Location: Cape Town, Western CapeClosing Date: 17 June 2024 Overview:Anova Health Institute NPC, a leading NGO dedicated to improving health and quality of life, is seeking three Professional Nurses for permanent positions in the Southern Western Subdistrict.
