This part-time position is ideal for someone who values cleanliness and is committed to maintaining a sanitary environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Responsibilities<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>-Develop routines to ensure all areas of the building are maintained to high standards of cleanliness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Responsible for cleaning assigned areas to meet the required frequency and standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Empty bins, transport waste to designated areas, and clean bins in all offices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Tidy and dust office desks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Vacuum carpets regularly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Clean bathrooms and hand basins daily.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Replenish consumable items (toilet paper, hand soap, paper towel, etc.) as required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Wash floors in kitchens, bathrooms, corridors, and staircases.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Maintain cleanliness of kitchen cupboards, counters, and fridges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Damp dust where appropriate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Monitor and reorder cleaning materials through the Manager.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Securely lock and unlock offices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Perform additional duties as required, including cleaning internal and external glass doors, lifts, and office machinery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Undertake porterage of cleaning equipment and office items.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Wash crockery, cutlery, and glasses used by staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Follow instructions from the Facilities Manager regarding work priorities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Comply with company policies and procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Report any defects affecting the security of the building to the Line Manager.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Adhere to health and safety responsibilities for yourself and others.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Requirements<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Minimum Qualifications and Experience<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>-Minimum of 1 year experience in a similar role.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Matric (NQF Level 4) or equivalent technical college training.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Desired Skills and Competencies<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>-Strong time management abilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Capability to work under pressure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Attention to detail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Effective verbal and listening skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>To apply, please ensure you have an Indeed account and follow the link to the company&#8217;s website.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>How To Apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/zentrofly.com\/jobs\/apply-central-energy-fund-general-workers\/\">APPLY<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Location: Sandton, Gauteng Closing Date: 14 July 2024 Job Overview The Central Energy Fund is seeking a diligent General Worker to ensure high standards of hygiene and cleanliness within our office building.
