Overview<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

PetroSA is inviting applications for the 2024 COE Apprenticeship Intake. This three-year apprenticeship program offers training in various trades within the Chemical, Petrochemical, and Oil & Gas industries. The program is designed for matriculants, graduates, or those with no prior work experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Successful candidates will undergo extensive training in one of the following trades:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Metal Machinist (Turning) \u2013 10 positions<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Electrical \u2013 16 positions<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Rigging \u2013 10 positions<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Mechanical Fitting \u2013 16 positions<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Welding \u2013 15 positions<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Instrumentation \u2013 10 positions<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Boilermaking \u2013 16 positions<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Minimum Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Grade 12 with a pass in Mathematics (not Maths Literacy) and Physical Science, OR<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-N3 with Mathematics and Science.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Experience:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-No prior employment experience required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Other Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Must be a South African citizen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Must be physically fit (medical screening will be conducted).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Must not have participated in any previous apprenticeship program.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Must not be currently studying or plan to study in 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Applicants with a Degree or Diploma will not be considered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Candidates can apply for only one trade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Only online applications will be considered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
