The positions report directly to the Traffic Manager. We invite suitably qualified candidates to apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Job Requirements:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Education:<\/strong> Grade 12 minimum. A diploma\/certificate in Transport Management is an added advantage.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Experience:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Supervisory experience.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Experience in using radio transmission communication systems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minimum of 3 years&#8217; experience in the bus industry.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Licenses:<\/strong> Valid EC 0.4 or EC Driver&#8217;s License and PrDP.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Job Outputs:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>-Analyze shift schedules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Conduct bus census and asset control.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Dispatch buses on shifts and for private hires on time.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Control overtime and plan DC leave and attendance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Communicate with seniors and subordinates via two-way radio.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Prepare daily operational reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Maintain all relevant registers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Allocate DC to private hires.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Monitor and report breakdowns, loading capacities, and uncovered trips.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Interact with passengers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Working Conditions:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Work under minimum supervision.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Shift work, including weekends and public holidays.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Competencies:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Knowledge:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Understanding of the bus passenger industry.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge of bus and shift scheduling procedures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Familiarity with company policies and procedures regarding vehicle use.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Understanding of the company&#8217;s disciplinary policies and procedures.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge of geographical areas within the company&#8217;s operations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Skills:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Good planning and organizing skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Effective communication and interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Time management skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Good driving skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Supervisory and people management skills.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Attributes:<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Strong work ethics.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Willingness to work after hours when necessary.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Service orientation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Patience in dealing with people.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Punctuality.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Road safety orientation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">How To Apply:<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/zentrofly.com\/jobs\/apply-ipelegeng-code-14-transport-officer-x3\/\">APPLY<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>IPELEGENG TRANSPORT TRUSTRng.
