Responsibilities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Learner Transportation:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Drive a school bus on prescribed routes according to time schedules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Pick up and drop off students at designated stops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Transport students and teachers on field trips, planning necessary routes and stops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Maintain order and discipline among student passengers in accordance with district policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

General Worker Duties:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Perform general maintenance and facility support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Respond to maintenance requests and ensure facilities are in working order.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Conduct plumbing and other maintenance tasks as needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Inform the facilities manager of any required repairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Maintain tools and ensure the availability of maintenance consumables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Provide general support for security, access control, and traffic management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Perform garden maintenance, including maintaining grass and flower beds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Communicate gardening needs to the facilities manager and maintain gardening tools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Health and Safety:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Conduct daily safety and operational inspections of the assigned vehicle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Report mechanical repairs when necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Service buses with fuel, oil, and other essentials; check tires and batteries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Perform periodic safety drills as required by law and complete necessary reports.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle to ensure safe operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Attend safety, first aid, and training meetings as required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Record Keeping:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n
