Overview<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

We are seeking two experienced Drivers for a 5-month fixed-term contract. The successful candidates will be responsible for operating light, heavy, and extra heavy-duty vehicles in accordance with company procedures and standards, under the direction of the Transport Supervisor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Responsibilities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

-Adhere to quality assurance and governance protocols.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Participate in cost-saving initiatives within Mini Business Units by optimizing resource utilization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Conduct risk assessments before commencing any tasks as per policies and procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Perform pre-start and visual checks on vehicles (e.g., brakes, lights, oil, water, wheel nuts, licenses) and report any defects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Provide transport services on shift by driving various rigid and articulated vehicles (e.g., buses, combis, lowbed, flatbeds, tractors, light vehicles, trucks, bomag rollers).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Follow planned transport schedules and handle ad-hoc trips as directed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Comply with company regulations and public road traffic laws.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Maintain cleanliness and good running condition of vehicles by cleaning and servicing them regularly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Inspect buses and pool vehicles for compliance with standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Complete all customs and immigration formalities for cross-border trips.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Inspect and investigate vehicle checklists, identify anomalies, and take corrective actions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ensure vehicle safety during trips and arrange for safe removal in case of breakdowns.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Handle all administrative functions, including documenting vehicle defects, maintaining checklists, and adhering to operational and engineering procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Follow all safety, health, and environmental policies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Implement creative and innovative ideas to improve Mini Business Unit performance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Maintain effective relationships with clients, partners, and customers to achieve unit objectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Take responsibility for personal development and provide excellent service by applying skills and knowledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Requirements<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

-BGCSE or equivalent qualification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Minimum of 2 years of experience in a transport environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Extra Heavy-Duty Driver’s License.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-PRDP Special – Buses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-PRDP Goods.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
