As a member of our institution, you will be part of a professional environment that values excellence and growth. We are looking for a reliable individual who is passionate about providing safe and efficient transportation for our students and staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Learner Transportation:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Drive a school bus along prescribed routes, adhering to time schedules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Pick up and drop off students at designated stops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Transport students and teachers on field trips, planning necessary routes and stops.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Maintain order and discipline among student passengers according to district policy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>General Worker Duties:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Perform general maintenance and facility support.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Receive and address maintenance requests for facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Conduct daily inspections to ensure facilities are functioning properly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Complete necessary maintenance tasks, such as plumbing repairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Inform the facilities manager of any required repairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Maintain tools and manage maintenance consumables.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Provide support for security and access control across the facilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Assist with traffic management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Maintain the garden, including grass and flower beds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Report gardening needs to the facilities manager.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Health and Safety:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Conduct daily safety and operational inspections of the assigned vehicle.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Report mechanical repairs as needed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Service buses with fuel, oil, and other essentials.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Perform periodic safety drills and complete necessary reports.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain vehicle cleanliness to ensure a safe operating condition.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attend safety, first aid, and training meetings as required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Record Keeping:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Complete periodic mileage reports and other documentation, including passenger counts.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Valid Code 10 driver\u2019s license with a Professional Driving Permit (PDP).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Minimum of three years\u2019 experience in a similar position, with school bus driving experience preferred.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Presentable appearance and good communication skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Clear criminal record.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"has-medium-font-size\"><strong>How To Apply:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/zentrofly.com\/jobs\/apply-curro-academy-parkdene-code-10-bus-driver\/\">APPLY<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>The successful candidate will start on 1 September 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you meet these qualifications and are ready to make a difference, we encourage you to apply and join our dedicated team at Curro Academy Parkdene Combined.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Bus Driver Position at Curro Academy Parkdene Combined Location: Parkdene, South AfricaClosing Date: 25 August 2024 Overview: Curro Academy Parkdene Combined is seeking a dedicated and experienced Bus Driver to join our team.
