This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about learning and contributing to golf course maintenance practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>-Hand raking of bunkers and maintaining bunker areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Operating grass-cutting equipment, including ride-on and walk-behind mowers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Trimming verges and hedges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Rolling greens to maintain optimal playing conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Performing hand watering and other cultural practices related to golf course maintenance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Using equipment such as weed eaters, flymos, blowers, and push mowers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Carrying out sod work as needed.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Performing any other reasonable tasks as requested to support golf course operations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Qualifications and Experience<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Grade 10 or equivalent education.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>General work experience is advantageous.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>No criminal record.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Additional Requirements<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Must be physically fit and capable of performing all duties associated with the role.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Willingness to work additional hours, including weekends and public holidays.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to work in various weather conditions.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Application Process<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-buttons is-layout-flex wp-block-buttons-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-button is-style-outline is-style-outline--1\"><a class=\"wp-block-button__link has-base-3-color has-text-color has-background has-link-color wp-element-button\" href=\"https:\/\/zentrofly.com\/jobs\/apply-fancourt-apprentice-golf-course-maintenance\/\" style=\"background-color:#ff0000\">APPLY HERE<\/a><\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Note:<\/strong> The company&#8217;s Employment Equity Plan will be considered during the hiring process.
