Overview<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Tshepa Hollard is seeking an experienced and innovative Head of Pricing and Product Development<\/em> to join its Actuarial Services team. This senior leadership role will focus on the pricing, design, and technical development of long-term insurance products, contributing directly to the strategic direction of Hollard Life products in Botswana.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Position Purpose<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

To lead pricing and product development activities for life insurance products, ensuring strategic alignment, technical soundness, and delivery of high-value solutions that meet customer and regulatory expectations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

-Contribute to the implementation and execution of Hollard Life’s product strategy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Drive the design, pricing, and refinement of long-term insurance products in line with the product development control cycle.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Prepare and review product documentation for both new and existing offerings, ensuring clear records of processes and decisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Conduct system configuration, updates, and maintenance for product integration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Monitor and report on risk performance for insurance products.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Provide technical support for business units in data analysis, actuarial modelling, and product research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ensure fair treatment of customers and adherence to service standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the actuarial function.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Minimum Qualifications<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

-Fellow of the Actuarial Society of South Africa (FASSA) or equivalent international actuarial qualification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Specialisation in Life Insurance is preferred.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Experience Requirements<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

-Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in long-term insurance, with a strong focus on pricing and product development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
