Overview<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Afriski Mountain Resort is looking for a dynamic and detail-oriented Receptionist<\/strong> to join our team. This role requires an individual with strong communication, administrative, and customer service skills to ensure a seamless guest experience. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling reservations, coordinating with various departments, and providing excellent customer service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

-Manage reservations, including checking availability, sending and following up on quotes, and capturing bookings on Innkeeper<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Communicate guest requests, booked activities, and housekeeping needs to relevant departments.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Log and report maintenance and housekeeping issues on Innkeeper<\/strong> in a timely manner.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Deliver outstanding customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction<\/strong> and minimizing negative reviews.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Maintain accurate financial and administrative records<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Utilize strong marketing skills<\/strong> to cross-sell and up-sell Afriski offerings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Essential Skills & Competencies<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

–Multicultural communication<\/strong> skills with the ability to interact with diverse guests and team members.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Adaptability and flexibility<\/strong> to work in a dynamic environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Business administration and financial literacy<\/strong> to manage bookings and records effectively.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Computer literacy<\/strong>, including proficiency in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, Canva<\/strong>, and virtual meeting tools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Comprehensive knowledge of reception duties<\/strong> and hospitality service standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

–Understanding of Lesotho dynamics<\/strong> and the ability to connect with key decision-makers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Requirements<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

-Willingness to live on-site<\/strong> at the resort in harsh weather conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ability to multi-task<\/strong> and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
