Overview<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The North West Department of Health invites applications for four (4) Food Service Aid II posts at Mafikeng Provincial Hospital. Successful candidates will support the hospital\u2019s catering services by maintaining kitchen hygiene, assisting with food and beverage preparation, and ensuring quality and safety standards are upheld for patients, staff, and visitors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Clean kitchen utensils, equipment, and work areas; remove garbage safely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Provide catering support services and keep stock of kitchen utensils and equipment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Apply hygiene and safety measures; maintain quality control for all food provided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Prepare snacks and beverages (e.g., water, tea, coffee, milk, sugar, cold drinks).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Set up and convey crockery, cutlery, and equipment to dining areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Serve food and beverages timeously and courteously.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Assist with responsibility for food supplies and report waste and losses.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Requirements & Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

–NQF Level 1 & 2 (ABET Level Certificate or equivalent).<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ability to read and write.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Basic knowledge of food service management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Good interpersonal relations and customer-friendly conduct.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
