Overview<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The North West Department of Health is recruiting six Cleaner II staff members to provide routine cleaning services that ensure a clean, safe, and hygienic hospital environment for patients, visitors, and staff. Successful candidates will be deployed across the Klerksdorp\/Tshepong Hospital Complex and the Provincial Laundry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Perform daily cleaning of wards, offices, corridors, ablutions, and other areas using dusters, brooms, mops, vacuum cleaners, and scrubbing machines.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Remove refuse and maintain tidy, hazard-free passages and service areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Uphold infection control, health, safety, and hygiene standards at all times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Care for and correctly use cleaning equipment and materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Perform any other reasonable cleaning or housekeeping tasks delegated by the supervisor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Requirements & Skills<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-NQF Level 1 & 2 (ABET Level 2 Certificate or equivalent).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ability to read and write.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Knowledge of basic health and safety measures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Good interpersonal and communication skills.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Reliability, attention to detail, and the ability to follow instructions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
