Tower Group is recruiting 10 experienced Drivers<\/strong> for a leading car-rental client. If you\u2019re a safe, courteous and reliable driver with strong customer-focus and proven trailer-towing ability, we\u2019d like to meet you.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Minimum Requirements<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 Grade 12 \/ Matric (or NQF 4 equivalent)
\u2013 Valid, unendorsed Code 8 (B)<\/strong> driver\u2019s licence (held for 2+ years<\/strong>)
\u2013 2 years\u2019 relevant driving experience<\/strong> (fleet, courier, rentals or logistics)
\u2013 Computer literate<\/strong> (basic level)
\u2013 Fully bilingual<\/strong>: fluent in English & Afrikaans<\/strong> (speak, read, write)
\u2013 Reside in the Northern Suburbs of Cape Town<\/strong>
\u2013 Code C1<\/strong> licence advantageous<\/strong>
\u2013 Proven trailer towing<\/strong> competence advantageous<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Main Job Functions<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 Deliver and collect golf carts<\/strong> using a trailer<\/strong> to\/from golf courses and private customers
\u2013 Deliver and collect parts<\/strong> using a bakkie to various sites and customers
\u2013 Plan routes and use navigation apps<\/strong> to ensure on-time<\/strong> deliveries\/collections
\u2013 Keep assigned vehicles clean, presentable, and fuelled<\/strong> (interior & exterior)
\u2013 Complete delivery documentation<\/strong> accurately (waybills \/ PODs)
\u2013 Run office errands<\/strong> (stationery, ad hoc collections) as needed
\u2013 Assist in-house and field technicians<\/strong> when required
\u2013 Communicate professionally with dispatch, customers and team members
\u2013 Adhere to traffic laws<\/strong>, company policies<\/strong> and safety standards<\/strong> at all times<\/p>\n\n\n\n
