Overview:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Premium Nickel Resources is seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Cage Tender<\/strong> to operate shaft conveyances transporting personnel and materials between surface and underground. This role is vital to the safe and efficient movement within the mine and requires strict adherence to operational protocols and safety standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

-Operate shaft conveyances (cage) to transport personnel and materials underground safely and efficiently.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ensure compliance with mine standard operating procedures and relevant safety regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Erect shaft examination platforms on conveyances as per required safety standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Conduct routine daily cage inspections and report any defects or abnormalities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Maintain housekeeping around the shaft area to uphold safety and operational standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Enforce adherence to safety protocols among all team members during transport activities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Respond proactively to safety risks or equipment malfunctions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Qualifications and Experience:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    -BGCSE or equivalent qualification.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    -Minimum of 2 years\u2019 experience working as a cage tender in a mining environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    -Completion of a certified Cage Tender Course.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
