Overview<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Premium Resources Botswana is seeking a qualified and experienced Dump Truck Operator<\/strong> to operate underground loading machines used to move ore and waste from production zones to designated storage or haulage areas. This position plays a crucial role in underground mining operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and equipment care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

-Operate levers to load blasted materials into haul trucks or designated storage points underground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Drive machines into blasted muckpiles and organize materials to prevent equipment damage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Collaborate with Haul Truck Operators for safe and coordinated loading and unloading.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Conduct pre-operation and during-operation inspections of the LHD, reporting any defects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Complete standard safety checklists and document any mechanical or operational issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Assess material condition prior to loading to ensure safety and suitability.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Perform risk assessments for each new loading area and comply with safety standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Support maintenance teams in scheduled and emergency repairs of the LHD unit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Clean, fuel, and lubricate the machine at the end of each shift.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Follow all underground mine safety and operational procedures rigorously.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Requirements and Skills<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    -Valid Underground LHD Operator\u2019s License<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    -Minimum BGCSE or equivalent<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    -3\u20135 years of hands-on experience operating LHDs in an underground mining environment<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    -Heavy Duty Driving License (advantageous)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    -Multi-Skill Operator capability (advantageous)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    -Strong understanding of underground mining practices and equipment operation<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    -Ability to assess risks and conduct inspections<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    -Good communication and interpersonal skills<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    -Ability to work in confined spaces<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    -Commitment to safety and ability to demonstrate PNR values and core competencies<\/p>\n\n\n\n
