Overview<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Premium Resources Botswana is seeking a Project Geologist<\/strong> to support exploration and drilling activities under the supervision of the Senior Geologist & Exploration Manager. This role is essential in planning, executing, and supervising geological programs in designated project areas, ensuring technical excellence and operational efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

-Manage contractors and verify timesheets.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Execute approved drilling programs and supervise delegated tasks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Log drill core and mentor junior geologists and technicians.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Maintain updated cross-sections and quick logs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ensure adherence to SOPs by core technicians and samplers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Coordinate logistics for drill pads, trails, rig moves, and hole planning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Resolve drilling or logistical challenges with drillers and team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Participate in daily drilling result reviews and strategy planning with the exploration team.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Supervise field crews during geological fieldwork.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ensure proper sample collection and record new geological observations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Interpret geological, geochemical, and geophysical data.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Integrate multi-source data for comprehensive geological analysis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Requirements and Skills<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

    -Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Geology or Geological Engineering<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    -Minimum of 4 years post-qualification experience<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    -Experience in core logging (geological and structural) is advantageous<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    -Knowledge of Magmatic Cu-Ni Sulphide Deposits preferred<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    -Familiarity with deep surface and underground diamond drill programs<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    -Proficiency in geological software: Datamine (DHLogger), ArcGIS, and MS Office Suite<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    -Strong communication skills, both written and verbal<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    -Commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards<\/p>\n\n\n\n
