The successful candidates will deliver high-standard cleaning and hygiene services across clinical and non-clinical areas to support safe patient care and an efficient hospital environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Key Responsibilities<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>-Provide cleaning services according to the work schedule using heavy-duty equipment and approved chemicals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Clean clinical and non-clinical areas, including bathrooms, toilets, windows, walls, doors, frames and handles.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Perform terminal cleaning of infectious areas in line with IPC protocols.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Strip and seal vinyl floors; scrub tiled floors; vacuum carpets; wash carpets when required.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Remove and dispose of general waste in designated areas safely.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Comply with Occupational Health &amp; Safety and Infection Prevention &amp; Control standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Perform any other reasonable cleaning duties as directed by the team leader\/supervisor.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Meet the physical demands of the role when working individually and in teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Be willing to rotate to different areas of the hospital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Requirements &amp; Skills<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Minimum Qualification:<\/strong> Grade 10 \/ ABET Level 4 or higher\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Original certified school report\/transcript (issued within the last 6 months) must be available when requested.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Experience (advantageous):<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>12 months\u2019 proven experience in a formal clinical or hospital environment, and\/or<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Recent EPWP experience in hospital\/clinical cleaning (attach <strong>service certificate<\/strong> and a stamped, signed <strong>motivation<\/strong> from current EPWP supervisor).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Competencies:<\/strong>\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Ability to work in a team, under pressure, and meet deadlines.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Knowledge of <strong>Batho Pele Principles<\/strong> and willingness to uphold them.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Preparedness to work <strong>shifts<\/strong>, including weekends and public holidays.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Remuneration &amp;
