The successful candidate will ensure the safe, efficient, and timely transportation of <strong>blood products, goods, and passengers<\/strong>, while upholding the organisation\u2019s high standards of professionalism and care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Key Performance Areas<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>1. Pre-Trip Procedures<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>-Conduct full vehicle inspections using the official <strong>Vehicle Inspection Checklist<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Report all irregularities to the <strong>Dispatch Controller<\/strong> (or Head of Inventory\/Shift Supervisor in relevant zones) before leaving the premises.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Receive and sign for <strong>Trip Instruction Sheets<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Ensure name tags are collected and worn at all times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Collect products according to the <strong>Delivery Sheet<\/strong>, ensuring <strong>blood products are handled securely<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Complete the <strong>Trip Sheet<\/strong>, including odometer readings and logbook entries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Check fuel levels and obtain fuel if necessary.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Verify odometer readings printed on fuel slips.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>2. Transportation of Goods<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>-Follow the delivery schedule strictly and complete all documentation accurately.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Collect and deliver goods, obtaining signed proof of delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Provide professional and friendly service at all delivery points.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Promote SANBS\u2019 professional image at all times.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Complete closing vehicle inspections and hand over keys and documents to the Dispatch Controller.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-No unauthorised goods, passengers, or route deviations allowed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Complete the logbook after every trip.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>3. Transportation of Passengers<\/strong> <em>(Not applicable to Technical Drivers)<\/em><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>-Confirm passenger information and collect Transport Request forms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Collect petty cash for airport parking when needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Display the SANBS Welcome Board at airport arrivals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Assist passengers with luggage, boarding, and navigating to reception if needed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Request the completed <strong>Customer Service Assessment Form<\/strong> after drop-off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Log all trips and adhere to passenger transport rules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>4.
