This position plays a critical role in ensuring efficient store administration, stock control, transactional accuracy, and delivering excellent customer service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>-Assist the Store Manager with stock-taking processes and daily administration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Monitor and analyse stock movement to prevent losses and reduce shrinkage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Implement and follow risk management practices and audit compliance procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Manage and maintain store administrative systems, reports, and records.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Extract and analyse store performance reports and share insights with the Store Manager.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Oversee transactional activities including cash-ups and POS operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Maintain in-store filing systems, paperwork, and reporting accuracy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Uphold security and safety protocols within the store environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Process customer transactions using the point-of-sale system.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Engage with customers professionally to understand and meet their needs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Promote customer loyalty programs and enhance the in-store shopping experience.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Support visual merchandising, housekeeping, and general store readiness.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Continuously develop product knowledge and selling techniques.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Work within the team to achieve sales targets and store objectives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Keep informed of the latest fashion and brand trends.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Requirements and Skills<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Qualifications<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>BGCSE (Botswana General Certificate of Secondary Education)<\/strong> or equivalent.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Experience<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Minimum of <strong>3 years in a retail or administrative role<\/strong>, preferably within the fashion or apparel industry.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Key Skills<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Excellent administration and organisational abilities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Computer literacy and familiarity with retail systems.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong customer service orientation and communication skills.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Interest in fashion and retail trends.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple responsibilities.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Comfortable working shifts, weekends, and public holidays.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Attention to detail and high standards of accuracy.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Independent, proactive, and reliable work ethic.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Behavioural Competencies<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Takes initiative and handles challenges with energy and urgency.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Builds effective internal and external working relationships.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Makes sound decisions and acts on insights to improve performance.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Embraces digital systems and continuous improvement.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Motivates self and others to deliver team and organisational goals.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Uses feedback for self-development and improved effectiveness.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Why Join Markham (TFG)?<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>At Markham, fashion meets purpose.
