Overview:<\/strong>
MMG-Khoemacau Copper Mining invites qualified and enthusiastic graduates to apply for its Mechanical Engineering Graduate Traineeship. This two-year rotational program offers an excellent opportunity for graduates to gain hands-on experience, develop professional skills, and contribute meaningfully to MMG-Khoemacau\u2019s operations. This is a fast-paced, team-based environment where successful candidates must be willing to work in a remote mining location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Position Purpose:<\/strong>
The Graduate Trainee \u2013 Mechanical Engineer will support the planning, execution, and completion of mechanical engineering projects. This includes participation in engineering design, analysis, coordination, and compliance with standards, as well as project management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Assist Senior Engineers in daily engineering tasks and duties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Collaborate with teams to develop, design, and implement engineering solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Conduct research to solve specific technical issues and challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Compile and present progress reports on engineering projects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Comply with workplace safety standards and procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Attend workshops, meetings, and training sessions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Document work and research for future reference and improvements.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Stay updated with the latest developments and trends in engineering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Requirements and Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    -Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    -Must have graduated between 2020 and 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    -Must have ranked in the top 5% of your graduating class.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    -Strong desire to learn and grow in a multicultural and remote mining environment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    -Valid Class B driver\u2019s license and clean driving record.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    -Only Botswana citizens may apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
