MMG-Khoemacau Copper Mining is offering an exciting opportunity for a Graduate Civil Engineer to join its dynamic, multicultural team. The two-year rotational graduate development programme is designed to provide valuable real-world experience and allow participants to build professional engineering and business acumen. This opportunity is ideal for recent graduates eager to contribute meaningfully to impactful infrastructure and civil projects in a remote mining setting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Position Purpose:<\/strong>
The Graduate Trainee \u2013 Civil Engineer will assist with the planning, design, and execution of civil engineering projects. The role includes contributing to engineering solutions, project management processes, compliance with regulations, and continuous improvement initiatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Assist Senior Engineers in daily civil engineering tasks.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Work collaboratively on the design, development, and testing of engineering solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Conduct research to address specific technical challenges.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Compile and present reports on project outcomes and progress.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ensure adherence to safety standards and workplace procedures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Participate in professional development workshops and meetings.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Document engineering work and research for future use and knowledge sharing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Stay informed of current trends and advancements in civil engineering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    Requirements and Skills:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

    -Bachelor\u2019s Degree in Civil Engineering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    -Must have graduated between 2020 and 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    -Must be in the top 5% of your graduating class.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    -Excellent communication, problem-solving, and teamwork abilities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    -Strong interest in working in a remote mining location.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    -Valid Class B driver\u2019s license with a good driving record.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

    -Only Botswana citizens may apply.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
