The successful candidate will be the first point of contact for customers, handling transactions with precision and promoting Mukuru\u2019s services with professionalism. has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Position Purpose:<\/strong><br>Reporting to the Regional Branches Administrator, the Branch Teller is responsible for delivering efficient, friendly, and secure customer service while ensuring all transactions comply with regulatory standards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Transaction Processing<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Conduct thorough KYC (Know Your Customer) checks on every transaction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Authenticate foreign currency for outbound remittance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Handle, count, and disburse cash with 100% accuracy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Cancel non-compliant outbound orders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>-Monitor transactions in accordance with central bank regulations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Customer Service<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Assist customers in completing forms and understanding services.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Promote Mukuru products and encourage customer retention.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Compliance and Security<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Report suspicious activity to the AML Reporting Officer.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Assist customers with Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD) forms.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Secure all cash, devices, PINs, and passwords.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain branch and workstation security daily.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Keep visitor logs and verify identification.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Complete all required internal compliance training.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Operations and Housekeeping<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Perform accurate daily cash-ups and float reconciliations.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Maintain a clean and organized branch environment.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Conduct daily security checks before opening for trade.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Education:<\/strong> Botswana General Certificate of Secondary Education (BGCSE) \u2013 <strong>Essential<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Experience:<\/strong> Minimum of 1 year in the financial services sector \u2013 <strong>Essential<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Skills and Competencies:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Knowledge of FICA regulations, foreign currencies, and digital cash systems<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Excellent numeracy and attention to detail<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>High levels of professionalism and integrity<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Problem-solving ability and customer relationship management<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Sound
