FNB is seeking a skilled and proactive Handyman to perform general repairs, maintenance and building support across the premises. The role is ideal for a practical, problem-solving individual with a strong understanding of facility upkeep, safety standards and hands-on repair work. The successful candidate will work within an innovative, dynamic environment focused on continuous improvement and quality service delivery.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 Perform general repairs including carpentry, drywall repairs, and minor structural fixes.
\u2013 Conduct routine maintenance such as cleaning, painting, floor inspections and equipment upkeep.
\u2013 Build, install and repair fixtures including cabinets, counters, closets and fittings.
\u2013 Identify and resolve maintenance issues through analytical thinking and problem solving.
\u2013 Operate basic maintenance-related computer applications and MS Office.
\u2013 Adhere to safety protocols and ensure proper storage and handling of tools and materials.
\u2013 Communicate effectively with management and stakeholders regarding maintenance needs.
\u2013 Support an environment of curiosity, improvement and operational excellence.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Minimum Requirements<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

\u2013 Grade 12 \/ Matric or equivalent.
\u2013 A Handyman course or technical training is advantageous.
\u2013 Experience in general maintenance, repairs, carpentry or facilities support is beneficial.
\u2013 Ability to use maintenance tools, equipment and software.
\u2013 Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills.
\u2013 Understanding of safety regulations and compliance practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
