Overview:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Trollope Botswana International invites applications for two positions as Graduate Mining Engineer Trainees<\/strong>. The successful candidates will undergo comprehensive training in open-cast mining operations, including safety standards, project management, equipment utilization, and mining technologies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

-Learn and apply health, safety, and environmental regulations, standards, and policies.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Complete tasks assigned by the supervisor and support other team members with reporting and operations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Participate in training across a wide range of mining disciplines such as drilling and blasting, loading and hauling, pit services, and equipment utilization.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Acquire skills in mine planning, safety systems, and project feasibility.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Gain hands-on experience with mining systems and mineral extraction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Learn to use computer applications for mine planning, production modeling, and reporting.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Demonstrate readiness and enthusiasm to learn and contribute to commercial mining benefits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\n\n\n\n

Minimum Requirements:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

-Bachelor of Science in Mining Engineering or a related discipline.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Previous mining experience is not required but will be an added advantage.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Familiarity with MQWM Act Chapter 44:02.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Strong attention to detail and time management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Ability to handle pressure and accept constructive feedback.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Must be medically fit and maintain sober habits.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

-Valid Class B Driver\u2019s License.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
